Figments: Conversations with Andy Year II (2012)

Andy once said, I always thought I'd like my own tombstone to be blank. No epitaph and no name. Well, actually I'd like it to day figment. He never got his wish, but in my project Figments, Andy becomes a real figment of many people's imaginations, as they talk with the artist about their feelings, hopes, desires and whimsies at his grave in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Many of the conversations and behavior at Andy's grave echo the Pop artist's own often sounding innocent, simplistic statements, many of which, with time, actually turned out to be prophetic and wise.
