A completely experimental film taken from realistic situation and turning into a story that is unrealistic and visually stimulating in a sense that it is very rarely scene on the screen. We see how a young girl, Effie Sheen (Bronwyn de Beer) becomes caught up in taking drugs, her struggle and why she began taking drugs. Set in a lonely setting of Downtown Los Angeles. We see her struggle of addiction, loneliness, guilt and nostalgia. It starts off with where she ends up after a long agonizing journey of someone so young being forced into such a disillusioned life. We follow her journey in this non-verbal short film using symbolic and metaphorical meaning throughout the film.
