ALLEGED NAME CALLING: A teacher has a conference with a student's parents and informs them that the student allegedly called another student a "pecker". The teacher does not say the word but writes it down for the parents. One parents repeats the word out loud.

Several scenes of characters being stalked, and again, animal carcasses shown during some of these scenes. The film is fairly tense throughout as the monster lurks in the shadows. Most attacks are of the offscreen scream variety. There aren't many jump scares or surprises and the monster itself is only seen a few times.
