When Ian Harvey rowed 400 miles across Lake Superior for charity in 2005, the press called him the 'Crazy Irishman'. The Chippewa people who live along the lake shores named him 'Brave Warrior' because they identified him with their ancestors who made a similar journey to fight their enemy the Sioux in the early 1800's. A bond developed between Ian and the Chippewa family so strong that they invited him to become a blood brother and be adopted into their Bear Clan. This is their story and a unique insight into the Native American way of life.
