Becoming Sophie (2012)

Sophie Camus (Mallory Caillaud-Jones) is in her senior year of high school, when she finds out that her mother has been lying to her about having family in France. High school drama and this revelation cause her to make an irrational decision. With the help of her unused college fund, she buys a one-way ticket to France in the hopes of discovering her family and herself.
