We see the silhouette of a woman and wolf man in a dark room,they kiss and sink out of frame. The next morning they are seen with bare sholders in bed, but nothing explicit is shown.

The wolf-children often lose their clothes when they transform, and are sometimes shown naked when they become human again, but nothing explicit is shown.

A half-dog toddler vomits after eating a non-food item.

Minimal blood in the film. No graphic depictions of musculature nor bone.

Th body of a dead wolf with open eyes is shown. The body of the wolf is placed in a garbage bag and loaded into a garbage compactor (shown from the side at a distance with no blood nor bone-crushing sound effects), then trucked away.

(Note: The above only applies to the English language dub; the subtitle track contains no such language. It is likely that the old man is simply talking down to her in a disrespectful, Japanese conjugation, for which there is no easy English substitute.)

Deep and depressing.

The mother, Ame, and Yuki all vomit without little warning somewhere throughout the movie.

Yuki plays with a wild snake and attempts to catch it, it hisses at her and she grabs in by the neck.

Ame and Yuki's fight may scare younger viewers. It is tense and slightly unexpected.

The entirety of the movie can be emotionally traumatic, as it is quite sad and depressing at times. Hope is present by the end of the film however, and the good does outweigh the bad.
