A man has his eye gouged out by a sword (we see the aftermath of this and hear the sounds). Several characters are shot in the head and we see blood squirt from the wounds. A character is dying and another character runs him through with a sword. There is a moderate sized shoot out near the end of the film. A character flies through the air due to a grenade explosion which is somewhat comical. The violence would most likely render a PG-13 rating with the MPAA.

Several uses of the words "damn", "hell", "crap", and "bastard."

A character is seen briefly smoking a cigarette. A character smokes a cigar in one scene.

A somewhat intense opening scene where hostages are killed off (one of them is a child). A young woman is held captive later in the film and the lead villain is seen taunting her. We do not see how the scene ends and is suggested that they might have spent the night together. A sword fight near the end of the film might be considered somewhat frightening to children.
