A small provincial town lived happily and quietly until a businessman from Moscow Sergey decided to buy out a weaving factory, where local girls worked. Neither townspeople nor Sergey's partners could have imagined that a simple seamstress Nastya Rogozhkina would stand in the way of the "almost legitimate" desire of the big businessman. To avoid unnecessary uproar around the bargain, Sergey makes a bet with his business friends that he would settle the conflict with Nastya and she would agree to sign all the necessary papers in less than a week.
