50 Years of "Young German Cinema". In 1962, 26 aspiring young filmmakers signed the "Oberhausen Manifesto" and declared: "Daddy's Cinema Is Dead!" 50 years later: Hansjürgen "Jason" Pohland, one of the bunch, visits his nine surviving fellow "Rebels Of Oberhausen." Looking back at their careers, these filmmakers provide us with an inside perspective on the recent history of German cinema.
