There are several martial arts fight sequences in which the hero disposes of opponents with crunchy kicks, punches, knee and elbow strikes and throws and, in one scene, he smashes a wooden plank over a man's head.

The violence is stylised and exaggerated, with very little blood or injury detail.

In one scene a male character is shot and a small bloody bullet hole in his neck is briefly seen in close-up.

Later in the film, the hero has a fight with another accomplished martial arts fighter, at the conclusion of which there is blood seen on a man's ears and neck.
