Beyond Grace (2011)

A documentary feature film that follow Vijayalakshmi and her mother Bharati Shivaji's travels to Southern India, as they revisit the people and places that have been instrumental in helping to resurrect the once dormant dance form Mohiniyattam. An intimate portrait of two women artists whose determination and grace have trans-generational consequences.
