Le Quang Dao is a Vietnamese chef cooking noodles in Czech Republic. He loves Czech and American folk and country music, he likes to play it and even translates it into Vietnamese. When we however join him in Vietnam, a story of a bizarre celebrity turns into a deep personal drama. It is given by the extreme situation that he finds himself in - both his parents are dying.
