One Square Mile - Barrow, Alaska provides a portrait of life in the northernmost town in America. Located 300 miles inside the Arctic Circle, Barrow is an island on a sea of permafrost reachable only by air. This documentary was filmed during February of 2011, when temperatures ranged from -27 to a high of zero. The films provides a portrait of the community including the northernmost Mexican food restaurant in the world, and a Serbian pizza maker. The films was produced by husband and wife team Carl and Betsy Crum. The film was shot with a one-person crew over six days.
