Os Japoneses no Vale do Ribeira e Sudoeste Paulista (2007)

This short documentary tells the story of the Japanese colonization in the region of the Vale do Ribeira and the Southeastern region of the state of São Paulo. Through testimonies of Japanese immigrants and their children, we find out about their arrival in Brazil, the initial difficulties to settle in an isolated region.
