Keepers of Echowah

The Keepers of Echowah is the coming of age story of twin brothers who grow up on a hunting plantation in South Georgia. After their mother's death in childbirth and their father's subsequent suicide, the boys are raised by their eccentric Uncle, Charlie. With the help from the plantation's owner, Colonel O'Hearn, the servants and hunting guides, the boys learn to respect the land, their family and their life. Over the course of two decades, the boys come of age, shedding their innocence in the pursuit of women, war and the American dream.
