Mantegna (2011)

A poetic film about the masterwork Lamentation over the Dead Christ, painted by Andrea Mantegna in 1490. The film makes comparison with other works of the art from Renaissance to contemporary media that used the Dead Christ as a character, as well as those works that used, in a direct way, the Mantegna s Dead Christ as a reference.
