The Eternal Light: A Historical Retrospective (2006)

The Eternal Light documentary received an Emmy award for Religious programming in April 2007. It explores the Eternal Light radio and television series which aired on the NBC radio and TV networks from the mid 1940's to the mid 1980's. The documentary features footage from the original series including the powerful interview between correspondent Carl Stern and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel as well as current commentary from Nobel Peace Prize recipient Elie Wiesel, musician and political activist Theodore Bikel, and author Letty Cottin Pogrebin among others. The program also features and is narrated by Tony award winning actress Marian Seldes.
