Art for the Living (2010)

Jan is a visual artist who explores her experiences with grief through her work. Featured in this film is a sculpture made in essence of her husband Dan, who died of cancer four years prior to the making of this film, and the completion of his honorary sculpture. Through her art process, Jan recalls her time with Dan while he was alive, her struggles during his long illness and how her life has been changed after his death. In the end, Jan reveals how art can heal the soul and lift the spirit.
