As the mother's hands move down the boy's body, the camera tilts down with her to show below his waist, revealing the boy's genitals, which are slightly obscured by shadow.
While undergoing hypnosis later in the film, this scene is recalled but the view is from overhead. While the scene is out of focus and dimly lit, the boy's penis can be seen briefly in an erect state indicating that, in memory, the boy viewed his mother's actions to be sexual in nature.
In a later scene, the same boy is seen bathing himself. He lays down in the bathtub and is seen at first only above the waist. He then stands up, slightly exposing his bare bottom to the camera, then he stands on the edge of the bathtub to look out the window. In the process of doing this he once again exposes his genitals to the camera.
A man and woman have sex. The man's bottom and woman's breasts are visible.
The boy's mother caresses his upper leg causing him to become aroused, moan and ejaculate. He covers his crotch but she moves his hands to reveal a wet mark on his trousers.
