On the last day of the 1981 Springbok Tour, eight colleagues dressed up as clowns, bunny rabbits and a bumblebee in an attempt to offer a non-violent protest against Apartheid, only to unwittingly become the final casualties in one of the most violent and divisive periods in New Zealand history.
