In 2006 internationally renowned visual artist Andrew Baines was inspired to take his paintings from the canvas and bring them to life. He turned his paintings into surreal human sculptures comprised of people in business suits standing in the ocean at dawn. Edge of Nothingness documents Andrew's earliest human sculptures and follows him on his attempt to create one in the heart of Sydney's business district. The film offers insights into the creative process and the determination required to follow ones vision and ride the highs and lows of life as an artist.
