The Cheslatta Community Forest (2009)

The Cheslatta-Carrier First Nation was pushed to the brink of extinction over 50 years ago, when their traditional lands were flooded for a hydro-electric project. They overcame heartbreak, tragedy, and insurmountable odds to achieve and economic and cultural revival through a Community Forest in their homeland.
