Akmens un skembas (1967)

Three friends (Janis, Zigis and Ricards) serve for the Latvian Legion during the Second World War. Zigis dies, trying to join Red Army later in the war. Twenty years later Janis and Ricards meet. Ricards understands that he has lost everything - love of Antra, a friend and the fatherland.
