By Love and Art Scarred (2010)

Land ,a young bohemian filmmaker from New York City, has been trying for years to fund her dream of shooting her first feature film. After returning from a month long admission in the hospital and a stay with her suburban sister, Land comes back to the city to find that she has been evicted from her East Village apartment and her live-in boyfriend is nowhere to be found. She finds that her only option to find backers for her feature is to shoot a documentary of her neighbor and famous Albanian artist Vlad. She convinces her sister to bring her equipment to shoot the documentary of Vlad. Her sister wants her to give up this life and become a suburbanite and homemaker. A battle of wills ensues over which road Land should take. Will she get to live out her dream? Or will she sell out and go back to suburbia?
