Being the offspring of a retired pro wrestler, tag-team brothers JAMES BLOND and SPLINTER share dreams of body-slamming their way out of indie pro wrestling and into big bucks with the WWE. As James Blond struggles for notoriety. Splinter believes his ticket to the top is managing a 7-foot Russian amateur wrestler, a character who proceeds to maim all the wrestlers in the gym. From smoky bingo halls to open-air fairgrounds, "Wrestlemaniac" offers an often hilarious and unvarnished look at the subculture of independent professional wrestling.
