'BEYOND MIDNIGHT: The Grand Traverse': A documentary account of the 2009 Elk Mountains Grand Traverse backcountry ski race. A one of a kind ski race that crosses some of the most rugged terrain in the Western Hemisphere, linking the towns of Crested Butte, Colorado and Aspen, Coloraodo. The film presents a unique glimpse of the athletes who endure the race, which begins at midnight and follows a 40 mile course through 12,000 ft. terrain, set in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
