What Happened to 'the What'? (2004)

'What Happened to 'The What'?' is a short film documenting a young filmmaker's search for a lost piano. After a local piano is removed from his school's coffee bar ('The What'), director Joey Vigour begins a personal journey to track it down again. His trek takes him from the highest school officials to the darkest bowels of the school's storage rooms. Filmed and edited in a 2 day frenzy, and originally conceived merely as a present for a girl, 'What Happened to 'The What'?' is a poignant and relevant portrait of a very small time and place. The film offers a view of a changing world, seen through naive eyes.
