Anthems of the Underground (2010)

This is the story of two brothers who grew up in the mountains of New England in the little town of Unity NH. Their parents, Bev & Gary, met when Gary sold Bev some marijuana back in 1972. So needless to say, their children were destined for greatness, or...madness. One thing was for sure. Their lives would not be normal. One such thing was their odd obsession with independent music. My brother and I made a documentary, a musical journey of sorts through the underground music world. From skateboarding in our basement in the 80s and doing ollies over the litter box while listening to the Dead Milkmen, through our present quirky music obsession, this film takes viewers along for the ride.
