Are all wetlands in Louisiana the same? Not! The video series 'Wet Work' dispels that myth. In the genre of Mike Rowe's 'Dirty Jobs', teen host Austin Mouton tags along with wetland professionals to explore unique wetland ecosystems, and why they're important. He also learns what it takes to be a 'wet worker'. The LSU AgCenter produced these short environmental videos for middle school and high school students. Viewers learn the importance of managing coastal fisheries, of restoring coastal wetlands, and of conserving upland wetlands, while being treated to beautiful scenery, unique wildlife, and witty conversation. It's a fun adventure into the diversity of Louisiana wetlands and what it takes to keep them going. It's important work. It's tough work. It's Wet Work.
