Bike-U-mentary (2010)

Bike-U-mentary is a short docu-drama piece about bicycle commuting in Los Angeles. The film chronicles two individual cyclists on their respective journeys toward the UCLA campus. Upon arrival on campus, the two protagonists share a brief (dramatized) interaction at a stop light signifying the unspoken connection between commuter cyclists in an otherwise impersonal city. The film also incorporates interviews of the two main characters, stunning cinematography of their commutes, and an original score. In totality, the film stands to promote bicycling as a healthy, cost-effective, stress-free, and sustainable means of urban commuter transportation.
