The Movie Teller (2023)

A young girl, Maria Margarita, uses her very special gift. She can retell and act out movies in a way that grips and compels her audience to imagine and dream. First, she 'movie-tells' to her brothers and father who can only afford a single each week at the local movie theatre - and then, to the whole community. The people listen to her with delight and amusement; entertained, in awe and captivated by imaginary worlds. Maria Margarita allows them to forget the challenges of their daily lives.
