108 Teerthyatra (1987)

Archarya Shankaranand warns Rajkumar Uttam Kumar not to marry Ingla as he had cursed her in a previous birth as she was a prostitute, but he ignores him and marries her. As a result, Uttam disappears, and a distraught Ingla is instructed by Devrishi Narad to undertake a Teerthyatra of all 108 religious sites in order to get him back to life. In order to do this, she must visit holy Mandirs located in Chidambaram, Trivandram, Mirpur, Pandharpur, Patna, Calcutta, Baijnath, Shirdi, Badrinath amongst others. She is not aware that Bhagwan Bholeynath, Bhagwan Vishnu and Bhagwan Brahmadev have all undertaken oaths to prevent her from completing this task.
