The Ape (2009)

In the opening scene a man strips to his boxer shorts to wash at a sink. Later the same man is in a sauna watching a younger man shower completely naked from behind. He then takes a shower alongside the younger man. Pubic hair seen on both men but no genitalia.

A character has an injury. Some blood shown.

In an early scene the word 'fucking' is used (in English subtitles). Otherwise none.

A minor character mentions having had 'a few beers'.

Although slow, the film has a grim theme and an almost-constant sense of unease.
