Democracy Outside the Voting Booth (2009)

Democracy Outside the Voting Booth is a look into how democracy functions on a local level. We explore the controversy of the Housatonic River being polluted by General Electric and the different roles of both the citizens and the government officials. Interviews from activists, regular citizens, environmental officials and government officials bring the complicated web of small town democracy to light.
