Yukidaruma otoko (2007)

Henry Richardson, a self-styled scientist, has been obsessed by one concept since he was young; can a man become a snowball as we often see in animation? On the top of the snowy hill, he performs a demonstration experiment of his theory with his partner Tamura. However, it is so dangerous that Tamura separates from him. After two years, he happens to find a DVD of one Japanese animation. He gets inspired by the minds of characters in it and remembers his original feeling when he originally started his study. He also understands there is a positive relationship between people and snow in northern districts. He goes to Tamura and becomes friends with him again. With his partner's help and with his new snowman theory, he approaches to his final demonstration.
