Paczki: The Movie (2004)

For immigrant Polish families along the shores of Lake Erie, Mardi Gras was known by another name: Paczki Day, in honor of their fried, pre-Lenten, yeast donuts called paczki ('poonsh-kee'). Thanks to baker Tim Kiedrowski, the tradition is still alive, and it's Paczki Time again in Lorain County, Ohio, a three-day celebration of family, friends, food, and fun. This close-knit, small-town, multi-generational Polish culture is the true heart of America. It may be harder to find, but it's not lost.
