Grace has always watched the wolves from her back yard. And one has always watched her back; her wolf. When Grace finds an injured boy on her back porch, Sam, she realizes that he is her wolf. Together they realize that this is Sam's last year; his last year as a human and Grace will do anything to keep him that way - even though it may cost Sam his life.
