Madre Mia - Conversations avec la mère (2009)

Pia and Ada, two sisters in their forties, haven't seen one another since their childhood. Today, Ada pays a visit to her sister who lives in a small village in the south of France. During this day we learn of the terrible deed that their mother had committed 35 years ago - Abandoning Ada in order to take care of her sick daughter Pia. Together they cross the countryside in a journey that opens old wounds while healing and cleansing at the same time. An ultimate tribute to an absent mother who is always present.
