An observational film following one small boy, his brood of chickens and his imagination. Kirran is thirteen. At home on the farm, he hand-rears chickens, writes wild stories and runs shoeless through the fields. Corgam Farm is a world away from the rest of us. While dreaming of a sea voyage with 63 chickens in tow, Kirran hatches and hand-rears a new small brood. Packed with metaphor, this is a film about the twilight of childhood - a mixture of delightful freedom and not wanting to grow up.
