Like all zombie movies, there is blood and gore in nearly every scene. Dozens of people are bitten, shot, cut, beaten and die on screen, including several children.

There are several suicides.

Lots of swearing. A few derogatory references like "faggy".

In one scene, two characters get very drunk, finishing almost two whole bottles of whiskey.

From beginning to end, the movie is about three people fighting to survive. There are very few scenes that are not tense. In addition, there are a few "jump scares," but over all the movie is not exceedingly scary.
