In multiple scenes, cars are shot with an EMP weapon, which causes their engines to smoke (they are implied to blow up) and they lose control, resulting in crashes.

early into the movie, we see a spy car getting tortured by a "camera" (really a heating device) and fulling him up with oil that makes the heat go up, in order to get answers. afterwards the villain's heat him up so much he explodes (although the death is obscured as we see the reflection on a TV screen, all the viewer really sees are flames.)

Cars are outfitted with machine guns, rockets and other spy-weapon paraphernalia, resulting in numerous bullet-riddled and explosion-peppered chase scenes. Cars frequently crash and smash into the scenery and often crumble on impact. One spy, for instance, gets killed, and his body shows up as a cube of crushed metal.

Nothing offensive.

Some of the cars accused Mator of leaking oil, which most people would interpret as the car equivalent of urinating in one's pants.

One of the characters is a Volkswagon van with a funky paint job that speaks with a hippie affectation, has squinty eyes, and makes reference to his "organic" fuel. No overt drug references, but the characterization is recognizable as a "stoner" for adults

Despite being rated G, the movie is much darker than the first film, as it contains lots of violence and intense scenes.

The racers crashing, especially in the second race, can be intense for young viewers.
