Efforts by a husband and wife to deal with work-stress induced erectile dysfunction drive the plot and conversations. Sex scenes are numerous, consistently coital, one-on-one, and not strongly erotic, with sights ranging from lingerie to topless females to full frontal female and rear male nudity; these scenes are brief. Even shorter are three fantasy segments that each flash on screen for a second or less; this office orgy shows fully nude men and women engaged in a wider variety of sex acts, including threesomes.

Other tidbits: Two women visit a sex shop and inspect several toys and costumes, and they joust with dildos. The dildos' packaging emphasizes their anal use; other than brief conversation nothing else is made of this. A man is seen wearing a condom costume. A woman uses penis-shaped lipstick. Infidelity is considered and discussed by men and women.

A traffic pile-up occurs that would surely cause fatalities, but we don't see or hear about the victims. An assailant is hit on the head with a bottle, and some blood is shown. One folk healer/wizard/curandero beheads a chicken but no blood is seen; this is shown in passing. Another healer kills a chicken off-screen and a small amount of blood briefly falls toward someone. In a scene without nudity, a dominatrix whips a man harder than he expects a few times.

As English subtitled on VUDU, profanity is frequent, including variations of "f*ck", at least one usage of "c*nt", and a profusion of milder terms. It's mostly casual, not often sexual or strongly hostile. In one conversation a slew of vulgar words are suggested as preferable to "penis."

No drugs except scam herbal erectile dysfunction powders. Slight social drinking. A lot of smoking of cigarettes, some stress induced, with some comments that smokers had previously quit. One character becomes a chain smoker, and we see a disgusting pile of used butts in an ashtray. A teen is seen smoking once. One character smokes a cigar, billowing noxious clouds indoors.

A police action is massive, but it's not depicted in a serious fashion. The main characters' marital situation produces some emotional moments, but scenes shift quickly, lowering the emotional impact. The tone is consistently comedic, not frightening.
