The martian women are dressed in a skin-tight suit that shows off quite a bit of their curves (especially hips). Although nothing is shown, it sometimes appears as if their vests, belts & gloves are the only thing they're wearing. The holsters they have also seem to draw attention to their hips/upper legs.

A cat loudly vomits in an early scene. We don't see anything, but Milo's mom notes the presence of broccoli.

The Aliens are incredibly uncanny and scary looking.

Milo and her mom have a couple of arguments, and Milo says something very terrible to her.

This film may be darker than average film.

There are scenes of a child nearly falling into several deep, dark chasms. There are scenes of a child being pursued through dark corridors by armed aliens. There are scenes of science fiction weapons being aimed at a child with intent to kill, including a scene showing a "target lock" on the child's head. There is a narrative of a mother being vaporized that shows a needle of energy approaching the mother's head. There is a sad scene of a mother dying of asphyxiation as her son watches.
