A scene had the robot rescue a teenage girl from a building, but the robot does not understand that the girl does not want to go out in public naked. The girl's nudity is blurred from the audience, but the subject of shame and nudity is raised.

Aishwarya Rai is mostly seen revealing / skin tight dress. Songs have Rai's cleavage, thighs and navel visible which actually is quite a common thing in most Indian film songs. During train scene, goons remove Aishwarya Rai's dupatta which reveals her cleavage. No nude or sex scenes.

Scenes of moderate violence include a robot fighting humans, including fistfights and a shooting resulting in brief bloody injury detail.

Like many modern action-adventure movies, this film is extremely violent at times, although little blood is shown. Violent sequences include Chitty's battle with gang members threatening Sana; and a very over-the-top car chase including massive gunfire and multiple accidents and explosions. There is a frightening sequence involving a burning building which could affect the sensitive or young. In the drawn-out climactic sequence literally thousands of soldiers and robots are shot, blown up, bludgeoned or otherwise harmed, with more vehicle crashes and explosions. Perhaps not as brutal as some Western entries in the genre, definitely too intense for young children.

Two men scolds some bad words to the robot. However, the robot repeats the same words which was spoken by two men.

The English subtitles also have multiple uses of the word "shit" when characters are upset or frustrated.

Dr. Vaseegaran's assistants drink liquor and try to get the robot to do so as well. Several characters smoke.

Sana is threatened with sexual assault by gang members, and a young girl kills herself out of shame by running into traffic.
