The Childhood of Icarus (2009)

At the prime of his life, Jonathan Vogel suffers a motorcycle accident that changes his life. He loses a leg and later on he's abandoned by his wife. But when an eminent medicine professor creates a revolutionary treatment, to which Jonathan is selected for being the perfect candidate for the experiment, he finds a new hope to continue living and possibly get his wife back.
