When a hard drinking struggling novelist is on the verge of selling his first story, he finds himself broke, broken, and haunted by the very thing he is writing about; In order not to self- destruct, he will have to confront his estranged Father now alcoholic, homeless, and living in a Shakespearean Play. His girlfriend Maria is pressing for commitment or else she is going to leave him for another woman, and his best friend roommate cousin Micky is about to move out and get married. If he can just finish his story, this "Lunatic Poet may put to rest a secret and change his fate.
