In a recurring side story, two sex-obsessed boys who are secondary characters make make many references to masturbation and sex. At one point, they gather together to watch pornographic movies, keeping a blanked over their legs so that they can masturbate. They also fight over a life-size blow-up doll of a girl that they apparently take turns sleeping with. They visits a palm reader/sex therapist who seductively trains them in how to please a woman.

The main character early in the film has a stain on his shorts near his crotch that his mother wipes off while he assures her it is "only toothpaste."

A gay athletic trainer is called in to remove rock-salt embedded in a character's rear more than once and makes suggestive gay comments.

A lot of sexual slang and some apparent cursing, although what sounds like the F-word in Afrikaans is translated as "crap!" in the English subtitles.
