A man beats a woman around the face and head with a telephone handset until she is knocked unconscious, causing bloody facial wounds.

A man is set on fire, after the flames are extinguished he is severely burned and bleeding.

A man hits another man on the head with a metal bar and knocks him out.

A man stabs another man through the eye, this occurs off-screen. The stick is shown passing over the eyeball immediately before the shot cuts away, the view of the actual stabbing is obscured by a vehicle.

A few other instances of medium to strong violence, punching/kicking with no blood shown.

Scenes of animal cruelty may be disturbing to some viewers. The entire film has an atmosphere of tension and menace.
