Alapképlet (1989)

János Ballada, Hungarian teacher and pioneer leader stands every night under the window of the school's headmistress, with whom he is secretly in love. When the school's own war veteran dies he tasked to find a replacement for the upcoming celebration. One of his students, Peti Szeder lives in the same building as him, and by coincidence his great-grandfather becomes the chosen one. The ceremony is drowned in chaos when the old man talks back and forth about his wartime experiences.
