The main characters are grim reapers who deal with death constantly. Several dead bodies. An off-screen suicide achieved through an elaborate Rube Goldberg-style contraption. Scenes of a building blowing up, a man lying on the floor with a pool of blood near his head, a girl being hit by falling debris from outer space, and a woman being strangled. One of the characters repeatedly pushes a dying man's soul back into his body to revive him simply for the sake of gaining notoriety. Two people are involved in off-screen car accidents. A man is shot off-screen by a mugger. A man shoots one of the reapers repeatedly, but the reaper displays his/her healing power to the man by instantly recovering.

Many uses of the f bomb, both sexual and non-sexual. A few god---ns and assh---s. One of the characters talks about a film producer she met, and another character asks her if she "has to blow him" to get a role; it is also mentioned that she "went down on" Clark Gable to get a minor role in Gone with the Wind. One character says, "And if [she] doesn't like it, she can blow me."
